For Fun In and Around St. George

RUSH Fun Plex
RUSH Fun Plex in nearby Hurricane is the largest indoor-outdoor entertainment center in the region, with go-karts, multi-level laser tag, bowling, mini golf, bumper cars, climbing walls and a huge arcade all in one building. It is about 25 minutes from the hotel at 6924 W Coral Junction Road, and it is a good rainy-day or hot-afternoon plan for families with a wide range of ages. Fiesta Family Fun Center
Fiesta Family Fun Center is a St. George classic, only a few minutes from the hotel at 171 E 1160 S. Under one roof you will find glow bowling, laser tag, two mini golf courses, go-karts and a big arcade, plus the grown-up B-Lounge for parents who want to sit down for a bit. It is open late on weekends, which makes it an easy evening stop after a day in the parks.

Laser Mania
Laser Mania sits right downtown at 67 E St George Blvd, Suite 10, an easy walk or very short drive from the hotel. Along with its multi-level laser tag arena there is blacklight mini golf, virtual reality, a 4D movie ride, bumper cars and a Retrocade full of classic games. Attractions are sold individually or in combo passes, so you can build an hour or a whole afternoon.

House of Jump
House of Jump at 415 S Dixie Drive is Southern Utah’s indoor trampoline park, with roughly 70 connected trampolines, dodgeball and basketball courts, foam and dunk lanes and two 16-foot climbing walls. There is a separate area for little kids and a quieter toddler time on weekday mornings. Socks and a signed waiver are required, and both can be handled at the front desk.

Confetti Kids Club
Confetti Kids Club is an indoor playground built for the youngest travelers, with soft play structures, slides and imaginative play areas in a clean, air-conditioned space at 1552 Gateway Drive, Unit 1. It doubles as a party shop, so it is a favorite of local families for birthdays. If you are traveling with toddlers or preschoolers and need somewhere to burn off energy, this is the spot.

St. George Children’s Museum
The St. George Children’s Museum fills a historic downtown building with about 15 hands-on exhibit spaces, from a construction zone and flight room to a mini city where kids can play shopkeeper, doctor or paleontologist. Admission is inexpensive, with discounts for seniors and free entry for children two and under, and it is open Monday through Saturday. Plan on a couple of hours if your kids are between 2 and 10.

Dixie Bowl
Dixie Bowl & Billiards at 146 E City Center Street has been the neighborhood bowling alley in St. George for decades, and it still has the retro character to prove it. Along with the lanes there are billiard tables, league nights and open bowling for walk-ins, plus shoe rental at the counter. It is a relaxed, affordable evening out and only minutes from the hotel.

Classic Skating
Classic Skating, formerly known as The RinQ, is at 1871 W Canyon View Drive and is Southern Utah’s indoor roller skating rink. Beyond the skate floor there is an arcade, mini golf, karaoke, pizza and private rooms for birthday parties, so the whole group can find something to do. Check the schedule before you go, since public sessions vary by day and by season.
