This Mud Run Event will benefit our charity Vesting America’s Police K9’s, which has vested 15 K9’s including 2 in our own county (soon to add Washington City’s K9 Tank), and in the process of an additional 18 K9’s are waiting to receive their vest. Our Vesting America’s Police K9’s facebook page has 45,000+ followers across the globe (full details www.facebook.com/VestAPoliceK9/) . Vesting America’s Police K-9’s is a subsidiary of Tread Armament and Weaponry that is dedicated to providing bullet/stab proof vests for the K-9 officers of Utah, as well as other areas of this country. We are a non-profit 501c3 status. Dogs employed in our law-enforcement K-9 units are asked to risk their lives on a daily basis, often without the protective equipment afforded to their human counterparts. . While on duty, law enforcement dogs are asked to risk their lives by going ahead of their human officers, often confronting serious and possibly fatal danger, to protect their human officers and our local communities. We have also teamed up with David Petersen, Executive Director of Southern Utah’s Boy Scouts of America and a fellow America Ninja Warrior enthusiast to bring a fun challenging course for anyone who wants to try a mud run. We will have several local Ninja Warriors that will participate in the event and also have a mini ninja warrior course available for anyone who wants to try it. There will be 3 levels to most of the obstacles: level 1 is easy beginner, level 2 is intermediate, and level 3 is the Elite Team Level which is mostly done with a team. But not to worry, you can skip any obstacle. Levels 1 and 2 will consist of 10 obstacles and Elite level will have 12. Elite Individual Challenge is for those who believe they can conquer this course, it is a timed, there will be a penalty challenge if you fail to compete an obstacle and there will be awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall finishers. The Elite Team Challenge is for a team of 10 people- so get your closet friends and family members together to compete in this challenging course, its not a relay, it will be a timed event, any team that doesn’t finish an obstacle will have a time delay penalty and/ or physical challenge. The team challenge is limited to 10 teams. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Obstacles: Log run, Mud swing, Balance Pegs, Climb Wall, Cold Swim, Mud Crawl, Cargo Net, Log jump, Tire Run, Hay Stack Climb. Team Elite Challenge: $300 per team or $35 per person (Team of 10 participants) Elite Individual Challenge $40 per person Adult Run 18+ years $35 Youth 12-17 yrs $20 Kids 11 and under are FREE! Free Race Photos will be available to all participants and will be downloaded to Tread’s Facebook page after the event for you to tag yourself and others. All Participants will receive a shirt and finisher medal (except the free kids run participants). Packet Pickup will be Friday April 15th from 10am-6pm at Tread Armament (144 W Brigham Road, Suite 9, St George) and the morning of the Mud Run starting at 7am.
